Process Mapping
This course will help you learn perhaps the single most important aspect of ISO 9001:2000, the process approach.

Topics include:
  • Process Approach and its relation to ISO 9001.
  • Process Mapping as a tool to satisfy the requirements as ISO 9001 and beyond.
  • Different mapping techniques and their particular applications.
  • Using the different techniques in a hierarchal fashion to get the most out of the techniques.
This course will also cover using process mapping as a tool for continual improvement--another keystone of ISO 9001:2000: including opportunity identification, cause analysis, solution generation and documenting the improved process. Using Process Mapping to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, either as a new system or as a technique to upgrade from the 1994 version.

Coaching Consulting
In this type of an engagement, we will help our customers plan and execute a system according to the standard of our customer's choice. REI's consultants will train our customer's staff, coach and mentor them, and guide our customers to successful certification.

We will perform a gap analysis, train customers in requirements of the Standard, organize and lead the project organization, structure the planned system, help customers develop the project plan and the entire system.

Turnkey Consulting
Most of the time, customers do not have the manpower necessary to design and implement a system. In these cases, we perform all the services outlined above in Supervisory Consulting, and we develop the system documentation.

Custom Consulting
When a customer needs specific assistance on a project, REI can provide custom consulting to our customer's preferences on-site or on a remote basis. We can for instance, go on-site to perform a gap analysis and help customer prepare a project plan.

We can review documents on a remote basis and provide advice via telephone or email. Remote consulting is however, best when used as a follow-up after site visits.

Auditing
We conduct assessments of existing quality systems to determine compliance or degree of compliance with the appropriate ISO 9000, AS 9100, or other standards of the customer's choice. This assessment will be led or performed by fully trained assessors holding accreditation.

Conducting Internal Audits
REI will conduct internal audits with or without assistance from customer's auditors. The advantage of doing this, is that your audits will be professionally performed by auditors who are as capable as registration auditors.

Since we are your part-time employees, we can focus on any particular issues, in addition to meeting the minimum requirements. This will help you better use your system to improve profitability.

Assistance in Surveillance Audits
We can stay in the background, or actively field the registration audit as a part-time employee, to help enhance a smoother success audit. This is best done in conjunction with internal audits.

Maintenance of Certification
REI will perform internal audits, assist in management review and assist in handling registration (surveillance) audits. In addition, we will also assist in solving the problems detected in the audits.

Share A QA Manager
This program typically involves REI's presence on-site approximately one week a month, spread over the month. You will receive day-to-day supervision of the system in terms of ensuring that all elements are working properly--you will ultimately receive the maximum in internal business benefits.

Supervision will consist of monitoring: inspection systems, nonconforming products and processes, corrective and preventive actions and customer complaints and satisfaction, internal audits, assistance in management reviews, assistance in liaisons with registrar, etc.
